A truck carrying 35,500 pounds of explosives blew up yesterday in Utah and this is all that was left:

Fortunately the driver and co-driver survived, check out the story here: A Canyon Inferno. (http://www.sltrib.com/ci_2932207#)

Did they ever find the driver? and if so, what state did he land in.

The truck flipped on its side and caught fire, exploding 3 minutes later. The driver and codriver escaped and ran away, along with the 30 people who came to their assistance. Everyone survived.

Looks like it's going to need the frame straightened for sure & probably an alignment/ body work too. :p

The road is back open. Took 350 loads of fill! If you have been in the area there is the Trojan Explosive plant right in the mouth of the canyon (Spanish Fork Utah, the truck exploded just a few miles up). I had to go into the plant years ago the day after one of the buildings exploded. The crater was a bit larger than the truck left. The funny thing is every time we pass the plant I tell it to "not blow up" until we get past. Now I guess is doesn't matter since their trucks are on the road with us.
