I was just wondering if anyone has upgraded their bars and how it turned out. What exactly is a trans interceptor and is it worth the mod?

I got my Swaybars from Calmini they are 40% stiffer than stock bars... so they say, but they are the same size in diameter.

trans interceptor is an electronic shift kit that plugs into your transmission and has adjustable pots to to firm up line delay and torque lockup. You will feel a crispness when you are shifting and it is adjustable to the firmness of your choice.

I think that both these are a good upgrade, they have been good to me. ;)

I put the Calmini bars on and they were a definite improvement in the "roll" of the car body when cornering. The trade off is a moderately rougher ride. As far as size mattering, the rear bars are almost the same size in diameter, but the front bars are about 50 percent larger in diameter.
A shot of the front sway bar......http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/500/thumbs/CALMINI_SWAYS.JPG (http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/500/CALMINI_SWAYS.JPG)

I copied this from an archived thread.....

"The VehiCROSS sports a double wishbone, independent front suspension using torsion bar springs with a 1.1" stabilizer bar.
The rear is comprised of a 4-link suspension using coil springs with a .75" stabilizer bar."

Are these the measurements I should provide a shop with who is asking for my sway bar diameters. On the advice of Breezy i'm gonna try some energy suspension sawy bar bushings to make a little better ride.
