Good luck. I've been trying to reach him the past couple of weeks in regards to the roof-rack I purchased July 26th. He's been on the board recently, but his PM box is full and isn't returning emails. Hopefully you didn't buy the roof rack too!

He's into me for a roof-rack, paid $172 in full July 27th. He lives outside Minneapolis in Maple Grove, if any VX'ers are near there. Apparently he's a pinball and arcade game collector.

Put him on the MOODY list! Those who were at the old site will know what I'm talking about.

I've merged the threads as there are a bunch of them now. I know he's done wrong but I need to keep from having the same type of threads started over and over..

I put his Account on hold and I'll try to see what I can find out on him... Keep in touch with Joe as I'll be getting anything I can come up with to him..

Internet fraud is being taken more and more seriously these days. Sounds like a job for the feds.

Federal Bureau of Investigation
111 Washington Ave S # 1100
Minneapolis, MN 55401
Phone: (612) 376-3200

Or at least the local PD. They should have an internet fraud investigator as well.

I've personally reported a similar situation due to an occurance on another message board, and I can tell you from that experience, the police do not look favorably on anyone who tries to get away with such things.

Thats because it is theft no matter how you look at it!

I received a refund in full for my roof rack purchase and an apology from BillH23 this evening. It's none of my business what led to the failure of the transaction and I understand folk make mistakes, but communication always helps. Hope he makes good with everyone he was unable to meet expectations with, but for me the story is closed.

LOL, I was about to post earlier that he's probably just a procrastinator (i'm pretty sure that's not a crime). The fact that he only sold one of each item supports that there was no fraud intended.
