I was reading some press on the new 2006 Lincoln Navicross. I think someone over there is a VX fan because their description of the Navicross sounds a hell of a like the VX.
Has anyone else checked out the Navicross or have more info on it?
Thanks,
kobie

The Navicross has been on the car show circuit since at least 2002. Somewhere I have a picture of a teal colored one from Autoshow of that year. This vehicle is an SUV like a Volvo XC series (http://new.volvocars.com/anthem/index.asp?carVar=XC90) is an SUV. I don't see this as a threat or mimic in styling of the VX. Strangely, with the large wheel wells (and if I remember right this car comes with standard 22" wheels), I see this giving the 300C (http://www.chrysler.com/300/) a run for it's money.
Click here (http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/frame.php?file=car.php&carnum=1580) for some good info and pix on the vehicle.

I agree, looks like the designers had a bad dream about a late 60's firebird & then went to work the next day, instead of calling in sick.

I'm not usually one to pass judgement on the looks of a vehicle since I like the the less traditional designs hence my VX and audi TT. But that thing is just wrong.

It looks like they took some styling cues from Cadillac and Chrysler -- all the WRONG ONES!! I agree - it's fugly.

That THING is so retro 70's looking. Slap some Brady Bunch woodgrain sidepanels on there and you got yourself an eye opener. :p

i must say, im not much for it but i do find the way the trunk opens intresting. same goes for the interior, intresting, but it seems to be lacking something on the inside. other than that, it dosent seem to have much going for it.
