SS Car Show - Austin Sat 5/3

Technically this is an Impala SS car show but since I’m an honorary member with the vehicroSS, the administrator has agreed to give us our own class if we have 5 or more entries. I showed last year and won a great trophy and a cool door prize. Plus, this year the show is being held outside of RPM Raceway and for an additional $20 you can race in at least 2 events with their shifter style carts and qualify for the main event. Austin area owners have no excuse (IRS, etc) not to show!

No interest from the Austin crowd? For having so many VXes, we sure don’t show well...

There is a separate class for the VX and 1st / 2nd place trophies for people’s choice VX will be given out.

Tone, due to my damaged VX and all stock exterior and interior appearence, I have no hopes of winning and therefore will not enter. I will however be there and will race the gocarts with you guys. I don't have to pay in advance to race the gocarts do I?

It is people’s choice and stock could easily get a trophy. Racing practice starts around 10 with final heats around noon I think. You even get a free license (savs $8) if you say you are with the car show. We’ll be there at 9am setting. Look forward to seeing you - it’s gonna be a HOT SS show!

Lost - mine is totally stock! With the exception of the h***** light as you like to call it! I won't win compared to Lisa and Tone if they judge mods but you never know. Glad to see you'll make it there for Lisa and I to run you over - oops I mean race the go-carts! Goodluck and wear a helmet ;Dr;

Your VX is un-light pole damaged and pristine looking. Mine has scars with no major upgrades to make her stand out : ( Ummm I would wear a helmet if there was something to protect ;) As for racing, Tone is my only real challage as I whooped ***** all over Lisa at the Rally Cross : D

Lost, I never would have noticed the small dent in the front cladding if you and Lisa hadn't pointed it out - Lisa's just messing with you about that dent.
