Now that I have tuned it up, replaced the air cleaner and the MFS sensor as well as cleaned the EGR. I've encountered another problem.

Today on the way to Springfield with the A/C on, it started doing that surging or over revving sound AGAIN. Man just when I thought I had it fixed.
The sound doesn't seem to effect the performance but I don't know what else could be wrong.

Could it be the PCV valve? The throttle body needs cleaning? Need some help on this.

On a good note, the check engine light is off and I have regained my power.

under what circumstances does it surge?

After it's been driven awhile. Engine is warm. I really notice it when the A/C is on. I can let up off the gas and it quits but when I give it the gas it starts acting up.

Shawn,
I did a little search here on the intake gasket, looks like you are hitting the nail on the head.

How big of a job is it to replace them? How much are the gaskets? Would I be better off to have a mechanic replace them?

After the EGR cleaning yeaterday the check engine light went off and has been off ever sense.

You guys are a lotta help.
Thanks
