Yeah, unfortunately a garage in a decent part of Miami costs > $600k!

Envyyyyy...it's a good thing. Wow, it looks the exact same length as the VX; I thought they were smaller. I would have definitely picked up an Elise by now too, if I hadn't of blown up one of those Spyders five years ago, twice. The similar engine in the Spyder had a bad problem with the design of the 3 catalytic converters; they would disentigrate on the inside blocking the exhaust flow, something to look out for. It's wonderful to finally have the Elise in the states, though. I remember the first year of release here, they didn't have to meet all federal highway safety rules, but they would have to start phasing them in. Those changes starting to make it heavier?

My wife has her eye on the Sky. Saturn, the opposite of exotic, but I've told her she'd have to wait for the 253hp redline version so daddy can have some fun.

Thx, guys! The Elise is significantly smaller than the VX. I guess it's the perspective of that shot that makes it look the same length. The OAL is 149 in., so about 14" shorter than the VX. It's also about half as tall, and the sills are so wide, you have very little room inside... probably about 12" less interior width than the VX.

You must be a GIANT!! I'm 6'3" and it's pretty comfy for me (though I have only a 32" inseam). My 6'5" friend got in the passenger side with little difficulty, and I have an acquaintance who's 6'7" who says he can get in the passenger side (but no way driver's side).

Yeah I should have said that it was the drivers side I couldn't get in

I simply can't get my knee under the steering wheel, I have abnormally long legs, 38" inseam (6'5" in total)

The passenger side is tight, and uncomfortable. Of course, it ain't no Crown Vic either :)

Very nice, what did you pick it up for?

I heard that car runs a 1/4 @ around 17 seconds! Is that true?

I believe it runs 13.2 at around 104 mph ;)

Heck, the VX will run faster then 17 in the quater! lol

Nice rides Transio!

Wait a minute, lemme get this right....

You can manage to open your wallet for THAT, and yet, you get on the edge of your seat about a garage being $600k in Miami? Selfishness.... pure selfishness. :p

Hell, I am looking for a second car now as a commuter and I am having trouble just being able to afford a used Ford Focus or Honda Civic.

*ahem*.... I have a garage, hahahahahahaha ;)

Thanks for the love, guys! :)

Numba, I got a REALLY good deal on it! About $15k under the sticker price, with only 7,000 miles on it (and like new)! :D

VehiX, I think mine will get in the high 12's in the 1/4 mile. I have the sport pack, a cold air intake, and a stage 2 exhaust. :D

Worm, I don't have a PROBLEM with the cost of a house + garage here... I just don't have the MONEY for it!!! :p

Haha, thats completely human thinking there. I feel ya. I just bought my house and the ONLY important thing I was looking for when shopping for it was "it must have a garage". I have a LONG commute and the VX will not be able to handle it for lomg (rather, my wallet wont with these gas prices.... I have to fill her up 2 times a week). So, with the garage, the VX goes in there while I get to teeter along in my little pooter-scooter that gets better mileage, if and when I actually find one.

I am still impressed at how well those yellows make them look related. That is uncanny.
