I just missed an '01 Ironman w/ 26k miles for 15.9k but found a '01 Silver w/ 39k miles. They are asking for $16.9k, I offered them $15k. Is that a good price if its in excellent condition or should I try to talk them down a bit more. Just when I decided to buy and get the funds for it, all the good ones get sold. Though I know if I wait, I will find the same type deal. Im really looking for a Proton.

Thanks for the reply, Green unfortunely is the least favorite color Im looking for. Im not really interested in white but I saw a good deal on it.

Depends where you are?
I'm in Alaska and I got mine for $16K. It's '99 with 30K miles. But I also have a lot of extras!
If yours is in good shape 15K in good price!

I just found this sight. If your still looking I've got a '01, Black on Black, (which I'm told they didn't make many). It's still under warranty and in perfect condition. I did have custom graphics. But, it can be easily redone. It has been well taken care of. Let me know.

I took a look at the Silver Vx. It needs a new set of tires and a front end alignment. The body is straight, just a few scratches. The inside is pretty clean. The gasket around the headlights is falling apart, but thats very minor. He wants 15.5k, but with it needing new tires, he willing to drop it down a little.
I still would like the Proton as Im waiting to see what comes through. Im sure better deals will come, but 15k is not to bad. This would be the 3rd one Iv seen in the past two weeks. The 1st two being a '99 and this one an '01. Im really digging the auto climate control. Iv commented on one of the '99, its an Ironman but its needs some work. The other is a Silver one w/ 51k miles. That wasnt too bad, they want 12.5k for it. Im sure I could talk them down. Im still up in the air.

I have a 2000 VX and love it. I have a question the other
day I started to drive it and it "bucked" on my at about
10-20 mph. I continued driving and it was fine then when
I slowed down again it did it again. After that it was fine
at any speed. I always use 93+ gas and it only has 42k
on it. I thought maybe it wasn't in gear or something...
has anyone ever had this happen to their baby? -SIRCO
