I just ordered them and was hoping I didn't have to cut?

I was worried about the same thing, because post here have shown various sizes with and without cutting. I just gutted the idea about cutting and bought the 275/65/17's anyway. Only you will notice the cutting (if you have to).

I have 285/75/16 with a 2" lift and had to do a little bit of trimming in front. Unoticeable unless you stuck your head inside the fender well. 285/75/16 is 1.5" taller and 1" wider than 275/70/16. So if your car has no lift, I would imagine that you would have to do about the same amount of trimming. It's very easy to cut and just take your time and trim a little bit at a time.
Good luck!

Not to worry...trimming is so easy & minimal (you could do it with a steak knife if ya had to) Here's a pic of what needs to be trimmed (originally posted by member Ron Pfeiffer) really not noticable to anyone who didn't know it was trimmed.

Thanks for the help.. no worries now.
What did you use to cut it with? (besides steak knife)

I used a Japanese finish saw, but a hacksaw, dremel tool, wood saw or similar will work.
