Anybody ever thought of installing a double din radio

Im thinking of putting a Pioneer D1 in place of the cd changer/ cigarette lighter and ash tray. It would take some modding of course but I think it could be done. I would just keep the factory radio in place for security reasons. If I decide to do it, ill post pictures.

What kind of security are you talking about? I was also wondering about this and would rather remove both the stock radio and changer, move the a/c etc. down and put a 2 din head unit. That's just a thought, don't know if that can be done.
