Check transmission light blinking ?

Hi GANG !

After I've replaced original tranny fluid with synthetic I occasionally get "Check" tranny light on. This occures when engine is cold and when I put it into D it stopps blinking. My guess is that tranny level is low (did full replacement) of fluid with the replacement machine. Any thoughts ? Thanks...

Mine transmission light did that too before the engine blew up it seemed to run fun and shift gears ok. And the fluid was up to level. I never had any problems until bout two days later when the engine gave

How'd you know that the fluid was up to level?

I would be very sceptical to link the engine problem with tranny problem - different animals alltogether... different problems....
