Engine differents betwen 1999 and 2001

Hi Guys,

Is there any old threads about the differents between the 1999 3.5 engine and the 2001. I am thinking of buying one from a local junk yard,its a 2001, low miles, and i have a 1999, any issues or problems i should be aware of? thanks for any imput help.

There should be no functional differences between the two -I'd jump all over it.

Try to get the harness if you can (in case there were any routing changes made).

Would it not be better even to find an Axiom? I've been curious about that as well.

Sorry, the Axiom motor will NOT work in the VX without a new harness and ECU.
