What options has anyone found for our rides? ARB's? Lockers? Any tight posi or limited slip units? Price and avaliability? The stock posi seems pretty tight, wouldn't mind sourcing one for the front. Lockers are scary on side hills but I'm too cheap to pony up the dough for arb's. What have you guys found?

Pretty much all the Trooper goodies from ARB will work for you, and there's some VX-specific suspension and articulation goodies from places like Darlington and StinkyFab too. The OEM LSD isn't too bad for general off-road use, but if you're talking lockers then maybe "general" isn't your bag. ;)

You have two locker options that I know of for the rear - ARB air locker or a Lock-Rite auto locker. Both applications need to be for the older Isuzu Trooper 12 bolt rear - i.e. the "smaller" ring gear. I had the clutch packs on my rear LS disintegrate and was told by several Isuzu sources that there are none available in the US and they don't know when or if they would make more. Went with an ARB and love it.

Thats what stinks, I always seem to find myself in a spot where I should have had a locker, and then get pulled out by a buddy thats running them. Are ARB's pretty spendy for our rides? That would be a tough sell to my wife....
