Does anybody know how to switch the camera so that it is constantly on, not only when in reverse? I tried to locate the switch but couldn't find it. Please help.

if you want one you have to put it in yourself!

its rather simple actually....they used the reverise light to power the camera. why pay for another switch? atleast tats my understanding on it.

The camera lens control unit (Clarion) is in the left hand side panel - on the door hinge side, you will probably have to change the whole control unit (and possible camera unit) to have a camera which is constantly on. These are more common on motorhomes, etc.
I wouldn't really advise you to have this done, but if you insist, then try mounting a seperate LCD screen & connecting a seperate camera lens.
I hope that gave you some insight!
