I'll be in Phoenix for Ironman Arizona April 6th...ish thru the 10th. If anyone wants to have lunch in the Tempe area (will be around Tempe Town Lake a lot since thats where the race and acivities are) let me know. If you've got nothing better to do on the 9th come on out and check out the race. The swim start is well worth getting up a bit early for (2000 person mass start with great views from the Mill Ave bridge or the lake side walls). Here is all the info for Ironman Arizona (http://www.ironmanarizona.com/) . Hope to see some of you there!

Well I just finished Ironman #11 in my fastest time ever! I was 136th out of about 2000 (inclucing the pro's). I finished in 10:42 and some change. My legs are now VERY stiff and walking in the morning once they get a chance to really stiffen will be interesting and way painfull. I now have to wait and see if they get any "passdown slots" for Ironman Hawaii. I was 23rd in my agegroup and there are about 9 slots. They pass them down if anyone doesn't want theres untill they are taken. Probably won't go down 14 people but I got my fingers crossed.

That is frickin' awsome. I thought about trying to do an Iornman. My work was going to sponsor me. I have done some sprint tri's, multi-day adventure races, mt biking races, and a trail marathon this past dec. I decided that I couldn't focus on training with my crazy schedule. I'm sure that I would be in over my head...someday...

Again, well done.
