Anyone know how to increase the force of the seatbelt retraction mechanism? Mine doesn't have enough strength to retract very well which is quite annoying. If not manually retracted, the seatbelt interferes with the door closing completely etc. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

This is a major annoyance.
There is a plastic sliding keeper on the seatbelt, you can use it to hold the male end of the seatbelt buckle up high enough so that it doesn't get caught in the door when the door shuts.
Just sit in the seat, buckle the belt, and slide the keeper all of the way over to the buckle. This should give you enough "belt slack" to clear the door.
