I have read that the Vehicross engine is prone to bearing failure around 60,000 miles.
Is this true ?
Thanks
Dave

This has happened to only a handfull of members here but I wouldn't go as far as to say it's "prone" to doing this. It's not a common problem but one that has been reported periodically.
I'm sure others will chime in with more useful information but to answer your question, no, this is not a common thing to have happen :)

Thank you for your response. I was hoping this was the case.

mine spun a rod bearing at 70.000 miles over the winter time. And i was told by a mechanic that he had replaced a trooper engine (which is the same as ours) with a factory reman and it spun a bearing after 40.000 and the first engine did the same thing.
