Kissimmee - car show/meet ?

Hi David in Australia here, towards the end of this month I will be travelling to the US with my family, and we will be in Orlando for a couple of days ...our travel blurb says that on Fri/sat nites there's a local classic car show / meet there at Kiss..etc ...any one live close or know whether this still happens..we thought it might be a bit of fun whilst we are in the area to check it out..

That's at Old Town on Hwy 192 just a bit south of I4. It's a largish touristy place with shops, eats and a bit of a carnival atmosphere having a few rides like bumper cars and some bungee launches. There's usually several area car clubs that cruise in on Friday night and park for display, then they have like a parade through the middle of the place.

It's kinda cool, just local groups, but a good walk through to kill some time while you are there. We used to stay next door at the Day's Inn Suites every October for the Paintball World Cup.
