U-Joints

[VR4-Quest]

My Isuzu dealer decide my U-joints are causing the grinding noise on my VX (although I lubed them all the time, maybe the lift killed them). Anyway, they were going to replace them under warranty but cant get them anywhere in the states, saying they are a japan only part. The dealer now no longer handles Isuzu warranties, so im out (will have to find another dealer). Just wondering if anyones has had problems getting OE U-joints or if the dealer is giving me the run-around cause they are dropping Isuzu. Also, are there aftermarket alternatives?

That's crap. I ordered a set of OEM u-joints recently from an online vendor and got them ASAP. It's the exact same part as for the Trooper.
