Trooper mirror Question?

Do we know for sure if we can or cannot mount the chrome mirrors that come on some limted edition troopers and reodeos?

I want to source down a cheaper alternative for chrome mirrors.

If I can find a wrecked trooper or rodeo, I want the mirrors.

At a glance it seems the mount is different but the mirror itself is the same.

Anyone know if this will work?

i asked this a while back for a different reason, the power folding feature of the late model Trooper mirrors.

Anyone have one of each, and willing to do the research labor?

I would buy one at a junker on a chance if I could locate one nearby.

The head of the mirror looks to be the same for the Troop and the VX so the only difference would be the mount. I noticed that, when parked next to a Troop but, couldn't get a real good look at it because the people were still in the Trooper and they were already tiffed because I was staring at their vehicle.

I guess I'll check a few junk yards for a LE trooper some geo's or possible swift si.
