I've pretty much debaged my vehicross all the way at the moment. Now I'm going about getting the vehicross stickers back on the sides of the truck and really have nothing to put onto the grill. Any ideas?

i ordered a set of those dashboard badges off of ebay and plan to try to make one of those fit into the space in the front grille.. im pretty sure it will just take a little scrunching to make fit, maybe removing the 'ehi' then ill put a piece of plastic over it to protect it (theyre just stickers after all).. once they come in ill let you know how it goes

Look under "Vauxhall badges" on eBay, there's a pretty cool VXR emblem that looks like it would fit nicely. Not the "ricer" R, just 3 block letters VXR.

I removed the Isuzu Badge and replaced it with an Amber LED Marker Light. Looks very cool at night.

:) :) :) :) :) Without a doubt, go with autox-racers titanium badge....I have mine for almost 3 years. It looks great, its a piece a cake to put on,it fits the space perfect and it never needs cleaning!!!!! Get it if you can, its well worth the money...... 3 NY winters & I live by the water. Salt air and all the snow and it still looks the same since I put it on. Even comes with its own adhesive, & a drop is all it takes to stay perfect!

I also just put on Auto-Racer's titanium VX badge, and am very happy with it. It was a PAI to get the original ISUZU badge off (I had to soak the adhesive foam in rubbing alcohol 2-3 times for 30 minutes to get all the residue off, but it worked nicely.
etlsport, those letters on your grill look like they came from youremblem.com. Am I correct? Are you happy with their products? I've been considering debadging the rear door and using those letters to spell out something a little more interesting.

yep thats exactly where they came from, they look great up close, no imprefections that i could see, ive washed em off a few times after 7-8 hour drives on the highways, even gone through auto car washes, looks the same as when i put them on and are still on securely. ive already recommended a few friends to the website. imho i would think they would look kind of funny on the rear door because they are fairly deep, when i get home tonight ill take a shot from the side so you can see how far they stick out

Thanks for the pic! You're right - they don't stick out all that far.
I really like the look of those letters (as they appear on the website - and your pic confirms it), but I haven't come up with a brilliant idea yet on what to do with them on my VX. I am ready to remove the "ISUZU" on the rear hatch, but I think something has to go in its place. I like the look of the side-badge when put on the back!

Has anyone removed the badges from the sides of the VehiCROSS?
I would think that would look very nice and make the sides look sleaker. Just my opinion.

I did that myself...debadged the whole thing. The only things I left on are the 3.5L and the TOD badges. I love the sleek look but my brother thinks it'd be cooler with the Vehicross badges on the side.

i like the look of the VehiCROSS logos on the side.. although i really want to paint the 'ehi' blue to go with the overall blue theme i have on my vx.. do you still have that part of the logos layin around that i could buy off of you? itd be nice to have a set to practice on

How difficult is it to take them off? If I ever decide to do it, I'd like to know what I'm getting myself into. Thanks

The only reason I did remove them is because the one was damaged. And I had detailers at the dealership remove them. So I can't say I know how to remove them.

They come off easy if you wait till it's really hot. If you do it when it's cold you'll think your fingernails are going to come off before the badge does. On a silver VX you might see the impression of the badge still there because silver paint fades and it'll still be new underneath them.

When I removed the ISUZU from the rear, it broke into a bunch of little pieces... made it easy for removal.
But, my question for those who have removed the side Vehicross emblems:
Did the letters break up/disintegrate during removal, or did they stay intact enough for reuse?
thanks!

Mine disintegrated like the rear ones but I've seen people on this board send them to eachother so some people must get them off whole.... I think if it's warm enough it's possible. I did it when it was cold (heck I polished my wheels and headlights yesterday when it was 32º) and almost killed myself getting them off.

yea leave the vx in the sun for an hour or two on a hot day, i used a thin plastic spatula w/ rounded corners to get under it and peel it up, a light back and forth sawing motion and a litltle patience and i had them off and re-usable, ive got both sets still and thanks to tom one of them is nicely mounted ;Db;

The appliques that I had made up didn't bring up much interest so I donated them to Moncha. If you make an extra donation to the site, he might send you a set ('scuse the shameless plug for donations:)). They'd prolly make a decent window sticker too.
PM me if you want the contact info for the guy who did them for me.
