My 99 with 98000 miles is at $11,500! So WHY are all of you selling them letting them go for so little?

Yeah, I had a dealership offer me $5000 for my '99 with 103k miles; NADA has mine being worth $8900 trade-in or $11100 retail, but Edmunds lists it as $4843 trade-in or $7895 retail. That's a huge difference! I think NADA estimates what a vehicle should be worth, whereas Edmunds "TMV" is based more on reported sales, which shows how many folks are selling their VX'es for way less than they're worth.

wow!

my 2001 with 37.8k miles -

Average Trade-In $14,325 Average Retail $16,875

although, not guaranteed to get that on the market.

the dreaded thought of parting w/mine has come and gone, as of late.
painful, really.

that retail # is, suddenly, bringing that thought up, again.
