As I went by the Baptist church near my home yesterday, my dash lights started flickering intermittantly. It was not related to the road surface. I wondered if something powerful was happening in the church but today it reoccurred elsewhere. This time my 12 year old son was with me and he provided the fix. He suggested that I try the dash dimmer switch and sure enough, it was directly related. So I just rotated the knob several times quickly in both directions and viola, FIXED. Don't forget (like I did) that electrical connections can build up a small electrical barrier on contacts such as the wiper on potmeters (or potentiometers as we Americans call them) of which, of course, that switch is. No pics of this fix available at this time.
