What would you all appraise a 00' IronMan with 39,000miles on it at? Just making sure the one i just bought was a good deal. A little late to ask maybe but just making sure.......

This isn't helping your question about the value, but I was wondering if someone knew why some IronMan models have a logo on the hood? Did they put it on there or factory? Also some appear to look to have more of a flat black hood insert, while others seem glossy.

Thanks for any info.

If I were *really* interested in another I'd be willing to pay roughly 15k.

Considering what I paid for the Zilik's two VXs I would have to say around $9489.27

Wow in that case i paid too much.....Not going to state how much till i hear some more opinions just so they wont be based on what i paid......It does come with an extra set of rims, not off roading rims and tires which i prefer more but show rims they are 20''.....

Dealer or private party? 39,000 miles and been in an accident? 39,000 miles and like new? Based on the information you provided...I'd say anywhere from $2000 to $13,000. :p

O.K. What did you pay?

Here's some advice..............whenever you pull the trigger on buying a car (any big purchase)...........you pull the trigger knowing it was a GREAT deal. Make yourself believe that or you will drive yourself crazy.

I kinda think that's what going on here.

Peace.
Tom

p.s.
What did you pay? :p

I'd say $13k-ish range. What kind of rims did he throw in?

NADA says its worth $15,450 retail.
Kelly Blue Book says its worth $13,270 retail.
Edmunds says its worth $10,288 retail.

This is probably part of the reason it's hard to define how much a VX is worth - even the supposed "authorities" estimates all differ greatly, making it hard for the buyer, seller, lender, dealer, insurance company, DMV, and anyone else involved to agree on a "book value".

Unfortunately knowing if you got a good deal is not cut and dry. I'd say if you paid less than $15k and it's in excellent mechanical condition and you love the truck, you got a good deal. Sure, there are probably VX's out there to be had for $8k, $7k, maybe less, but the conditions also vary quite a bit, and I'd rather have a fairly low mileage VX that I know was maintained properly.

There are also quite a few highly modified VXes out there (like mine ;)) that are worth far more to the owner who shelled out for all the parts than they would ever recoup in a sale. If I asked blue book plus 1/2 of what I paid for all of my accessories I'd probably have a $30k VX. ;Db;

I'll be glad to help you drive yourself nuts...
Back in Feb. 2003 I paid $13.700 for my 99'...It was like new & had under 10,000 miles on the ticker.

The deal is done...settle in to the payments & enjoy your new to you ride...or,
