I dunno... clunking around on a diesel bike doesn't seem too sexy to me. Now a ROTARY powered bike would be something! :D

A turbo intercooled diesel is sexy! :p

Suzuki produced a number of rotary bikes as did Wankel and NSU, but unfortunately no manufacturer has pursued the technology since the 70's.

I had the opportunity to ride a Suzuki RE-5 and it was pretty cool. Very smooth.

This is a good site on the rotary bikes: Rotary Recycle USA (http://www.rotaryrecycle.net)

Interesting... Especially since it would have the possibility of being an alternative fuel (BioDiesel) vehicle. Being the more of a supersport fan, it'd look better with more fairing.

If I did the math right...

2.5L = .66 gallons

100Km = 62.137 Miles

62.137 Miles / .66 Gallons = 94.15 MPG

Ooh, I like, I like!!

94.15 MPGThere is a hybrid prototype on the site below that gets 160 mpg. Another bike you'll never see in the U.S.
