how do i post pics for a step by step??

how do i post pics in a step by step fashion?
how do i post pics to my gallery?
do i have to post pics in my gallery, then while in the body of the letter, click on my pictures, and that inserts the pic after my sentencs.
i need help here, i have used the search, site faqs, etc.....
i posted a pic to my gallery befor, but cant seem to remember how i did it.
wanting to post a how to, and make it understandable, going from descritption of step, show pic, description, pic, etc.

HELP ME PLEASE, IM GETTIN A HEADACHE...........

step one: add to your gallery

step two: when you are typing a message out, click the "my pictures" emblem and select the pic you want

sry, just positing those for proof of concept (and coz it's practically all I got in my gallery).

to update your gallery with new pics, click on "gallery" at the top, then "gallery links" then "upload photos" from the drop down menu

however, you can also use the [img] tags, by clicking the picture that looks like mountains and a sun just above the box where you put text in for your post. Though I am not sure of the exact syntax this system uses
