Except for the little placard on there... that is really cool!

Yeah! What's up with the placard? It doesn't make sense, why would someone go through the trouble of doin' up such a nice model kit and put a placard on it that sounds anti-VX? Like the whole thing was designed to poke fun at any off road vehicle except Jeeps? Weird....

It's not really poking fun at the VX; it's a dumb blonde joke, you know, like why did the blonde stare at the frozen orange juice can label? because it said "concentrate" :)

Well, the blonde is looking at a map. In the first pic, I thought she was lifting her skirt up. Shows where my head is at...

Ha! My mind's in the gutter too, that's what I thought when I looked at it!

Yeah Jeep people are like that. They will go way out of there way to say that they are better than anyone else...god I hate them.
On a lighter note I would love to have a modle that is that high quality anyone know where to get one?

Stereotype much? I still like jeeps and I am NOT like that. Actually plan on getting another Jeep.

Well, Jeep owners cant say much, considering their beloved vehicles were replaced by Hummers. Then again, the Hummer is the chariot of the God. And no, not that H2/H3 bastardisation.
I also heard that the Jeep Jamboree is getting smalled and smaller every year. A sign of things to come perhaps? :o

I think that the sign is that people need to put down the remote and maybe the mouse in my case, and get outside to enjoy life and nuture.

Its so easy to say when you dont live in a concrete jungle, haha.
Havent been camping in years, but the VX was always my best companion on those trips. *sigh*
And I still look at that plaque as Jeep claiming victory over other trail vehicles. :p

It definitely could be. Anyone skilled at sculpting garage kits could easily modify the Tamiya kit with some Super Sculpy and an X-acto knife. But it is hard to say. Does it say anywhere what the scale of the model is? Clearly, whoever put this together has mad model-kit skillz.

It is...
The miniature slickrock found in the Canyonlands region started this diorama. The Tamiya Isuzu Vehicross is customized into the VoX concept, Corian was used for the back deck. Has won numerous 1st place awards, two photos in model magazines.

It deserved the awards. I have seen a lot of model kits, and this one is painted and arranged VERY well. The dirt on the back of the VX, the suspension, everything. It would look nice on my bookshelf.
It would have been even cooler with a giant Gundam in the background looking at the VX enviously...

The artist could have chosen anything, I'm flattered :D
