Well not for me but for my significant other, soon to be fiance. She really wants a VX but cant find one in her range (under $8000). But I would like her to stay in the Isuzu family......

QUestion is how reliable is a 2000 Rodeo with 70,000 miles? Is there anything I should be aware of with other Isuzu's at all? She does like the Rodeo/Sports though.

Anything helps or suggestions

Do post these questions also on the Isuzu 4x4 site. That's the home to a ton of Rodeo owners. Lots of knowledge there.

Later model Rodeos and Troopers share the same drivetrain and many other components with the VX, so you'd be pretty homogenous in maintenance goodies. Reliability is very high with regular maintenance, but due diligence is always called for on a used vehicle.

Mine is going to go up for sale. KBB is about $7000. Runs good, in Florida though.

Starting in 2001 they changed the name from Amigo to Rodeo Sport, otherwise it is same vehicle.
