Can anyone tell me what a good price is for a 2001 proton with 50000
miles in good condition ? I'm looking for a VX but am concerned with
    maintaince costs.

For a 'good condition' VX with all service records/service intervals adhered to I'd be willing to pay 15 - 17k.

For a 'good condition' VX without service records/service intervals adhered to I'd be willing to pay 12 - 15k.

Lots of factors here though, including local sale vs. a sale where you have to travel to pick it up (or possibly pay to have it delivered).
