    Wink

The fuel milage of my VX went from a best of 19 MPG to 50 MPG by adding every one of these devices I found online. I have NO idea why the VehiCROSS didn't come from the factory with all of this... odd.

    :homer:

And blue LEDs on window washers add 5 horse powers, the SPARCO label under the front window tint adds 20

Seriously, he starts out in Chicago with an empty gas tank, & by the time he gets to my place in Fargo, gas is almost coming out the fill hole.

We just siphon all the extra gas into my VX & he turns around & goes back to Chicago.

There was an episode of Myth Busters where they bought all those devices on the web and eBay and most actually caused the two test platforms to perform worse than before applying them. Don't waste your money.

Mainly does the voltage regulator work? I have been watching my volts via scan guage bounce when I turn on headlights/driving lights or when there is extra bass coming from the two subs in the back. It only drops a couple tenths or so but I have notice that my dome light dims slightly when there is deep bass coming through.

add a 1.0 farad capacitor into your power wire leading up to your amp.. it stores up a charge so when your subs need a lot of power it draws from there instead taking power from your lights and such.. just make sure you make a good ground connection for it

I think the trend in car audio is to get away from capacitors. They work well when they can cycle fast enough to keep up with the bass spikes, but in my experience they don't make a big difference after the first couple of spikes.

What has made a big difference for me is upsizing my wires from the alternator to the battery, alternator to ground, and battery to ground (commonly known in car audio as "the big three"). There are calculators you can use to determine the minimum gauge wire for peak power draw. I used 0 gauge (it's overkill, but it looks cool and gives me capacity to expand). I would do this before upgrading anything else.

If I bought all of them and tossed them in the trunk of my VW I'd get 40 Mpg IN THE CITY.
