    Flying VXs

This is from Sunday meet. My VX:

I did that only once with the limited set of cameras Then Eugene (Sayga) repeated that twice:

while I was stuck on the hill (with a friend unsuccessfully pushing me out ):

More pics with Sayga's jumps, stuck VW Touareg on the same hill as me just before me, etc. in my gallery.
We expect movie of the Sayga's jump soon.

    Yep, crazy Russians

No dashboard, sorry. And I don't recommend to repeat that without helmet or hard hat, because of I hardly bumped with my head against the roof despite of my seat belt was fasten When I did that I would not imagine that it will look so cool from the side, so only one camera captured my flight (actually just two shots present above, no flight as is).

You boys are nuts. It does look like fun though. I would like to do that, but in someone else's VX. The rest of us can just live vicariously through you.

    Well done.

I have jumped my VX twice. The landing is hard (broke my subwoofer mounts) but manageable for the passengers. I decided twice was enough as the vehicle isn't exactly built for jumping and I didn't want to break anything on my daily driver.

that is very kewl, but......i have a couple of questions......
    1. lol who went first?? i would be scared to death. were you catching air on the first attempt? which leads me to my next question.......

    2. how fast are you going on approaching the ramp?

3.why is there even a ramp out in the middle of a snowy field???lol did you madmen build this ramp just for this purpose?

4 how much vodka was involved??? lol just kiddin, i think.....

anyway, great shots guys. looks like alot of fun. but i gotta say, ill just watch from here, thank you very much.

I did. Not catching air, just examine that ramp is strong enough to hold VX

I had about 150 feet before the ramp, I think. Probably it was about 40-50 mph, it is hard to say now, I didn't noticed that.

No, we are not so madmen It is motocross track with free access. You can see lot of hills on other photos.

I was absolutely sober; Sayga was with his son (who should be driving him home), so he drank few shots of brandy (or whatever it was, I don't remember) and he told that it is excusable for him, but he'd not even thought to jump if I not did it

I'll better watch this from the side next time too I've got lot of stuff around the front passenger seat after jump and that stuff was from my box located in the trunk (behind two row of seats!) :-)
