Looks nice...... This spring Im putting on a brushed aluminum "VX" on the back of mine. 3/8" thick 4" tall and about 9" wide. I bought them online through Montana wood lettering for about $40 shipped. Will post pics this spring with my new tires/wheels and rear badge.
Very Art Deco-ish! It has a "stock" look to it. The only thing that *might* make it look better is if the whole of the logo was raised and chrome like the logo orginally on the back.
Incidentally, How would one go about getting raised lettering or a logo in a chrome finish?
don't hate

i would suggest if your going at it yourself, reading up on either sand casting, and pouring an alloy, then polishing OR look into the vinyl / resin modeling scene. there is a slew of products for making your own pieces, parts, or lettering for that matter. and they can be VERY detailed. the vinyl is a softer product, where as the resin is a stiffer, harder final product. and if a mold is made, you can mass produce!!
Cool, now I will know it is you if I ever drive up behind you!
I ate at Big Pig again today...I'm stuffed.

Yeah, that place is awesome. I love their BBQ chicken salad. I also just threw on my new roof basket and now I'm looking for some anti-tamper security screws for the yakima rack.
