Neat!
So John, when can we expect to see a wooden Proton floating (or on plane at speed) down the Chattahoochee?

That's very cool! Love the other stuff from the pictures, especially the Topolino and Beetle.
Over 20 years of Isuzu enjoyment...
way cool!!!! especially where they use the water like roads! (I just saw the movie "the italian job" the other day, reminded me of that)
If you don't first THINK THINK, you could end up in deep DO DO!
We have a dutch Venice just 10 mls from where I live:Originally Posted by Techy-D

Wow, Dutch, that's a great picnickin place! I could enjoy a house like that on the water front and, then if I could afford the house, I could probably afford the wooden car to race on the water!
Thats lovely, Dutch

I was in Venice last week. Didn't see those woodies, but would love to. Very sweet... I still wish someone would do a California VX surfer woodie wagon!
As I see the unique and unmatched beauty of Venice, and the above great Netherlands pic,... I think of those memorable words of both WC Fields AND Al Gore:
"Step out of the gutter, my dear,.. and make way for the BIG WATER!
