Looks good. I have been toying with the idea of painting my grill. Was not sure if I wanted to do the whole thing white or just the honeycomb. Never thought about just outlining the front of the honeycomb.

    Looks great!

PS I like your clears and fogs.

I painted the whole honeycomb silver, I still have to add a black emblem:

    Nice job! I agree, subtle.

I sometimes envy the contrast the Protons and Ironmans can show with the dark cladding and black trim. Now all you need is a white skid plate like tomdietrying.

If they are the same as the one's I picked up from ebay:

I'm not impresses with them. LED is too dim for the angel eye. I'm tempted to make my own or find a right sized Cold Cathode Tube. But yes Costie, you've opened up that door with the photos - what are your thoughts on your fogs...

I think it looks great, especially the grill. Has anyone tried using any of that paint designed specifically for plastic? How about the "chrome" paint you can buy? I would love a chrome looking grill, but I wouldn't like the like the look of a chrome painted grill, know what I mean? I have also seen that chrome application process listed in the back of Popular Science/Popular Mechanics that claims to be able to coat just about anything chrome by spraying it on, but I don't know where to send the grill out to to have it done. Anyway, I like both the completely sprayed look and the "just the front grill painted look". Great job guys.

thanx guys, i got the fog lights at wal-mart for 20 bucks, they are strong, they give the halo look but when on they don't do the halo light. but they are very strong and i just took off the old factory fog lights off, cut of the plastic clear cover off, cut of the back and put those fog lights on there light a housing and now i can turn them and take them off like the old factory fog lights buy useing there housing, and i used the same connectors so no need for special wiring. just a simple turn like the old factory fog lights. if u guys need more info on how to make them, i be glad to take pictures and show u guys.

Are those operational hood pins or just some sort of stick-on fluff trinkets? When I previously had the C/F hood, I never found a pair of hood pins that worked well at all with the countour and slope of the VX hood.

WormGod, yes they are hood pins that work and now when i drive on the high way i don't have to worry about having to see the hood move whats so ever, it's completly still but set right where u don't put preasure on the paint and hood its self. I got them at AutoZone for 15 Bucks + Tax..... Thanxs VXD959, I have done more to it like i got Front rally lights, Got a window decal saying ISUZU Rally team and on the left side of the ISUZU decal i put the isuzu emblem, Also Painted My Dash and Grill Cover of the Rally Lights white at muy brothers Body Shop, he painted them for me with car paint and Clear Coat, and I made my own ram air from the bottom to holes where people put lights at, there i made 2 tubes to come all the way to the Air filter. I wish I can send you guys pictures but I don't have the camara at this point. My next few things are Red Mud Flaps, a custom made side door rally # sticker with stuff writen on it to make it look like sponsers on that sticker. the wind fairing in front of the front roof rack. after i have those three things done it will look almost like a Real Rally VehiCross. I will still need Tires and rims, superchager but that will be a long time from now, $ is to hard to come by now that it don't grow on trees anymore, lol. And 2 more things for the out side, the front hood scoop and modify it with a wrx air filter for real use of that scoop and 1 more that i will keep secret to my self till i have it done, it's never been done before on this Vehical and it's bad a**, probley will be done by the end of May before i go to boot camp. and i will still need the inside, like a tv, camara, racing gages, glow gage from a 94-97 trooper. navigation, better rally suspension, and maybe a few things along the way. it will take me at least 3 years for all this but I'm going for a real rally car but with the comfort a urben car in the inside, I'm not going to strip nothing away, i want perfomance with comfert. making it look clean two, not a getto mobel, lol. nad yes I'm addicted. I LOVE the VX and i will never get rid of it, I'm keeping it for collection for the future.

Man I really like the way your VX is turning out. I wanted mine to go the more rally route but I think it is taking on a more mudding look to it. I think a quick change or two with some lights and it will look a bit better.

Along those lines I have been thinking about getting another set of wheels. A multi spoke in either white, bronze or gold. In my mind I think that would look more rally along with proper mud flaps.

Take a look at my gallery if you have not already. I have only had the VX since sept of 2006
