Getting vx ready for moab hopefully
So i need my timming belt replace as well as deal with some drippage of antifreeze. I talk to a mechanic and this is what I am having replace. Forgive me If i name stuff wrong but want your input.
Timming belt, water pump, water pump gasket(seal), Radiator hoses (both), cam shaft seal, crank case seal, hydrolic pully (something to do with timming belt), also replacing what timing belt rest on (forget the name of it) rest of my belts (generic belts as he called them). I think that was it. Anyways I was quoted $1125 for all the work. I know there was some more stuff he spouted off but I cant think of it right now. The reason he is replacing is because they are in there anyways and they usually replace all that stuff in there when doing timming belt.
So I guess input? Is this over kill? good/bad?
