Red Mud Flaps for a more rally Look.

I just got this a few days ago from Sparco USA, I think it gives it a much better rally look. I made my own wires for each Flap, so it wont hit the tires. What you guys think of it? I Loke the picture with the doors opened, it kinda reminds me of a bird or butterfly when it opens its wings and displays it's real colors.

    Go Costie Go!!!

What'chya got there on the roof? Looks like a gas-powered long board. Or maybe a go-kart dragster?

Ok, gotta go take the VX in for an early 90k service and brake fix.

Sorry man... I'm with Crager. Don't think I've ever seen a WRC car with big, red, diesel truck mudflaps... but the only one you gotta please is you. Have at it!

I've been thinking of putting some flaps on mine, not sure (from pics) if I would like the look or not.
I would definitely go with black if I did, I personally just don't dig how that red stands out.
It's YOUR rig though Costie, props on all the work you put in to it.

Will you be rallying, by the way, or are you just going for "the look"?

I think he plans on that being done while he goes to the coast guard if I am right.

I have thought about mud flap myself as well.

    Talking

yeah J you are right. i will be doing more, like getting the rims painted white and bigger tires, and lifting the rear end, and more, but for now i'm a little tight on money cuz i'm getting married this may 6th, its in like 1 week and 1/2 and then going to boot camp for the Coast Guard on may 29th. but while I'm gone, i'm putting my girl and brother in charge of doing some extra mods like the lift, tires and rims, and also finish my Dash with a Navi, and few more things here and there. but yeah i want to get into some rally racing, but still keep the inside as comfertable as possible and not removing anything, I just want to have soe fun with it but keep it nice. The Flpas i ove, at first i was like Hmmmmmmmm, but now it has grown into me and i Love them, it gets more attenetion now. It's on its way to have its own rally look, but i have been taking ideas from other Pro Rally VX's out there. Mine wont ever be the true rally VX, cuz i will never put a roll cage and window nets and strip it down for less waight. but it will still run Like a VX and I know 1 thing of this thing, its made for rally stock or not. 1 of the best mod i'll be placing on this thing maybe while i'm in Boot camp or right after will be something that i have never seen any1 done on any VX, and thats a permanet Roof scoop, molded on the roof and flushing it to look clean and re-painting the roof the same color. Thanks you guys for the suport and openions, it's cool how we can all give each other ideas, if any1 wants to buy this kind of flaps, the come in three colors, Blue, Whitish/clear, and Red, they cost me all 4 with shipping only $46 from www.sparcousa.com . well got many mods to do to it but now i have to start placing a rope on my Balls cuz of my wedding, lol. so i'll have to wait a bit for the best stuff.

P.S. yeah thats my motorized skateboard i bought like 3 years ago, i used that thing like crazy, took it on ramps offroad it like crazy, even broke in half the steel bar in the back that holds the engine in place and rear wheel, and had it welded to fix it, but like i have been so busy in the last 1 1/2 i have not had time to ride it but i just picked it up from my storage so i can ride with a buddy of mine on the beach and find this secret jetty or inlet made by nature, and surf it down south of new smyrna beach and bathune beach and past into canaveral space center reserve park like 3 miles south of the last road access, and i have to do this really soon before i leave, u know have so more fun. i'll post pics of this place, its amazing , truly the best place in florida for beach lovers.

Have a great time in the USCG, I know I did. If I were a smart man, I would have stayed in and retired a few years ago... who'd a thunk that would have been a good idea at 19.
