spoiler tail light / hazard light question !

Okay, at the mini meet in Newtown Square this past Friday... we accidentally learned that out of the 4 of us who showed up... only my spoiler flashes with the hazard lights, but the other 3 trucks didnt...

I have an older UHaul 1 1/4 hitch, and there is an accessory cable hiding in where my jack it. I am wondering if they wired it that way, or mine was just special!

Anyone here know if their spoiler flashes with the hazards?

I initially thought you might have bought your VX from a former site member and that it probably had one of Tone's flasher units installed:

Adjustable Rate / Duration 3rd Brake Light Flasher $79

But rethinking it - I think it's due to where the splice was placed on your taillight circuit - if it only flashes when the VX has the hazard light on, it probably has to do with how they wired it when you had the hitch light wiring put in.

I must have not described this properly... so I will clarify.

When pressing down on the brake pedal, the spoiler light does not flash.
It just turns on solid like it is supposed to.

But when pushing the hazard light button on the dash, it flashes synchroniously with the rest of the lights.

None of the other 3 trucks did this, and the guys wanted to know why mine does, and how to get theirs to do it.

The ONLY thing I could think of, may have to do with the trailer hitch brake light harness. But that was installed before I bought the truck.
