    new paint Ldub style

been toying with the idea of painting around the rear window for awhile now.. finally did it this morning... im still torn... but liking it more and more.. what do u guys think?

btw it was done quickly with duplicolor temporary spray on paint... like 5 bucks at advanced auto parts.... a nice way to test out a new paintjob before its permanent

    Nice touch!
Sold the VX 11-21-07. It was fun while I had it!
    Thanks for all the help.

    I like.

I also like lDUBs tail lights. Anyone know what is outlining the lights? Or the knobs on his spoiler.

    Looks good.

So how do you get the duplicolor off?
I've been thinking of going with a dark hood on the ironman.

I like it. I also like Ldubs paint on the front end. It looks great on the Silver VXs.

Just make sure you don't tip over and knock off your mirror. I liked all of Dubster's mods, but that one I am still a little iffy on.

Thumbs up dont get me wrong.....lol

I like alot.........but i noticed something ive never noticed before. and maybe i just, and i mean this in a good way...... but i see ALOT of amigo, a very ADVANCED amigo, when that back pillar is painted black. and like i said, i like it, heck, i own my first amigo still, (working on it again to get it road worthy)..... but i just never "got it" i guess what did it, is the back and side glass look solid, or you just kinda "dont see em" hinting to the "amigo" pillar on the roof......ill quit, but i really DO like it.

very sneaky paint mod good idea with the removeable paint..........

    hmmmmm

    sneaker still...............

Thanx all...it continually amazes me that anyone wants to copy any of my mildly crazed ideas...

The c-pillar paint idea came to me originally because I like the lines of the Amigo w/o the top so much...also, because I always thought the VX looks too heavy /bulky /just plain BIG in the rear.

Bart, this is the OTHER mod you don't want to copy:

JH, The tail lights are trimmed in 3/8" chrome finish half round stick on moulding that I found at a NAPA store. (Prostripe protective body moulding)
I've also seen it (different brand) at O'reilly's.
That's now a moot point, as I've stripped off all the chrome & am gonna do it over with the same moulding in black.
The little "aero thingys" (industry technical term) were from Advance Auto or Auto Zone...heres a better pic...

ETL, sorry for the thread jack...I'm a bad boy.
