Well, if Zeus is Lt.Dangle then I guess that would be me. Maybe later in the night we will have a "T.T. situation".

    LOL! Bart

Well I for one didn’t take a camera last night so I think we have to wait for Zeus for some pics.

I had a blast last night and ended up calling in today. Feel kind of bad for the guy I’m supposed to be training but too bad for him. He did want to be there anyway.

I enjoy hanging out with all of you, it was good to finally put a face and real personality to Justin (Zeus).

ANY time you guys wanna hang out again just let me know. Hope we can get that camping trip together.

    Thumbs up

Likewise dude! Its always good to hang out and drink! Too bad you had to call off sick though, but then again, who wants to work anyway?

I did snap one shot, its not very good, but....

I felt a little sicky this morning too, but after a Monster and some extra sleep, I am all good. But I think Zeus might be a little hung over, especially if he kept drinking after I dropped him off....

    Camping: Definitely. Maybe this fall....

I talked to Ascinder about the Nov. trip and he sounded a little interested. Maybe we will come down.

It would be great to have a few of you caravan down from the north! Reno is a bit further away than I thought...according to map quest it is about 811 miles!
Now lets get this post back on topic!
Zues, where are the rest of those pics?

Yeah Billy, for us to get down there its got to be at least a 14 hour drive. Most people don't realize how far north we really are. I think its like a 7 or 8 hour drive from Reno just to get to Vegas!

It would be sweet though. I long to go back to Sedona....Oak Creek Canyon is gorgeous.

Thats about the same drive I have to get to Moab (well worth it though!). Sedona is starting to get over built/populated. They are building housing projects right up in the red rock. Kind of makes me sick to see. I was up there in the late 70's when there was nothing but nature up there. The "main" street through town had maybe a dozen little shops and that was pretty much it. Slie rock is a lot of fun and there are some nice camp areas in the Oak Creek Canyon area. Unfortunately they fill up quickly on the weekends. If you came down though, you'd definately want to take your time coming down and hit all the cool stuff on the way down.
When i go to Moab next year I am leaving a few days early so I can stop and do some hiking in Canyon de Chelly (I've always wanted to see the falls and canyons there) and getting into Moab a day or two early to rent a mountain bike and get a little different perspective on the trails!

Yeah, the real problem is, I have no time. I started on as a permanant employee at my new job here in Reno in late February and I only get like 3 days of vacation this year. It really sucks. I already used a bunch of days for Moab and I have to take some time around the holidays so I am basically screwed until '08. Weekend trips are about all I can do for the rest of this year....

Next year, for Moab, I am planning to stay the whole week and camp a little more on the way there and back. We stayed at Great Basin National Park last time, and it was GREAT!

When I lived in Chicago, I had like 5 weeks of vacation stored up at my job, since I was there for so long, and when I quit I got payed out for it (which was nice, it helped pay for the move), but now I am really missing my vacation time. I barely ever took a vacation when I lived in Chicago, and now I have like a million trips I wanna take out here....

    Such is life I guess....

Thanks for the get together, Reno VXers! I also really enjoyed hanging with you guys! I had an awesome trip to Reno and am glad I got to see different parts of it, and not only casinos. I could see living there would be all sorts of good times!

My VX shots weren't timed with the camera flash it seems , so Bart's pic would be the only one we have. As for hangovers, I wasn't too bad off yesterday - coming back to work today is much much worse! YAWN...

    Thursday - 22 Capt. & Cokes!
Friday - 4 beers, 1 glass of champagne, 2 glasses of wine, 3 Capt. & Cokes (took it easy )
Saturday - 2 beers and 1 Capt. & Coke before Bully's... then 3 (or 4?) 22oz Blue Moons and a shot of Tequila, then back to the casino for 2 more Capt. & Cokes
Sunday - 2 beers and a pizza at home

I am heading to Flaming Gorge in 2 weeks for the weekend. In 3 weeks, I am heading to Vegas and/or Casper. After that, I am done traveling for a bit... unless... a certain gorgeous band member from Reno gives me a call and wants to meet up in Wendover! Anyway, the camping trip might be a little further out for me. We should make it happen sometime though. September might be a possibility...? If we never get to it, at least there is Moab '08!

I know! I am surprised I didn't get sick so it must be proof they mix weak drinks in Reno. Then again, it took 13 hours to drink that much and I had a nap in there somewhere.
