I don't think I've seen that one, SlowPro. I've only seen the ones that holds the rear side down. I'm give the SBCs a try - eventually - and see how that goes.
Hopefully I won't be a 10%er.

Yeah there's not really a proper write-up on that one. I remember describing the fix but it didn't have it's own thread. I'm sure it's buried in the middle of a long ago threadjack somewhere. I provided the length of the bungee so I guess when it comes time to do the driver's side again I'll be using the search function as it took some experimenting to get the length right. Too long and you don't get enough lift, too short and the motor strains to get the window all the way down. Anyway since it was just going to be a temporary measure until I could get time to figure out how to move the lift point forward, I didn't bother taking pics and doing a writeup. I'll take some this time around though.
Hope the SBCs work for you. They definitely look stronger than stock!
Here's the other one...http://www.vehicross.info/forums/sho...=bungee+window

Which has a lot of useful looking links.
Just ordered a set! Both of my windows are not working .
I got a set a few months ago but I still haven't put them in yet Just haven't made the time to do the work. I suppose I'll do that this weekend as well as finally construct my rear storage box. I've been feeling pretty lazy these last few weeks. Could be because of the crappy, no-snow-only-rain we get over here.
Sounds like I'm in danger of loosing my title as king procrastinator around here

Do you sell these brackets? Mine are broken off. Richard. Florida
You realize that was a 2014 post.
Not sure if VXKAT still visits. I was gone for many years, but recently came back. My 1999 sat for a couple years but is not getting back on the road at least during the summers.

ps, I might have the brackets and will take a photo of them once the VX gets out of the shop for it's current issue.
