I had that issue as well, and the washers seem to have only made that worse as well. The washers made the window push even further out of the track.

The number of washers used, is different for every window.
It is important to make the glass rest on the nylon pad, in the middle of the lift arm, unbolted, near the top and near the bottom.

Wow, I am an over achiever.... Had these for about 6 months now and still have not installed them. I dont really have any window issues currently since I did the old bracket bend fix, so I guess these are a backup plan if anything.

Well I am finally going to put these brackets on but I think I lost the fittings that come with them. Anyone know where I can get them? Also any updates on a name brand glue and if it can be bought at an auto store?

    CIRCMAND,

Let me know when are you planning to do the fix. I also bought the brackets and perhaps we could help each other during installation (let's start with your VX as guinea pig ). I also need the information on the glue matter.

    Regards,
    Daniel

a small tube of silicon adhesive would work!
im here in Mesa AZ where it was over 100 for 3 months and i used industrial grade hot glue and its still holding up just fine.............
You could visit your local auto paint supply store or maybe even Checker,Kragen,Pep Boys,Napa and pick up some window adhesive.
