    Lowering my VX

Im more of a sports car guy, but still love my VX
for more reasons then just the 4x4 part.
My daily driver is an Svx awd Subie.
Id probably going to put 17x9 Cepek wheels on mine
and lower it 1-2" with the torsions and rear coils.

If I dont like it, I can always put it back to stock or higher.
Anyone else done this yet on here ?

There has been talk, but I don't remember anyone doing it yet. Be careful of the fact that you might be at the limit with bumpstops if you go lower. Watch your CV angles(should actually be a benefit), and you might have to fab something up for bumpstops to go lower and still allow suspension travel.

    Just a photochop....

Nope, considered it years ago as I am actually a lower profile fan myself (not gonna find mych offroading in the DC Metro area), but the VX poses too many issues with dropping. I simply never found it worth the time and money to invest to get it all worked out. Best of luck to ya though.

Oh, btw, I am a Subie guy too. '06 Rex, dropped on a Cobb stage 2 racing suspension. Too much money invested to be worth a daily driver, but nobody ever said I was smart. (shut up Ldub!)

Bump stops should be easy and if rubber, I can just cut
them down or bolt in some urethane ones that are shorter.
Right now the truck has a few inch lift.
Im going to take some pics as is, then back to stock height
and then after I drop it about 2"
By then Ill have some decent touring tires on it and some
    17 or 18" wheels.

Way to go with the 06 Subie, my brother has an STi.
We have a few in town we do work on from time to time.
    Great cars really.
