From what I remember Autox was cutting them from brushed titanium (he had access to the materials and tools at his work). They glue on with epoxy once the "isuzu" sticker was removed.

what about them skid plates though... are they still around, anyone sellin?
Ron produced them at vehicrosscomcepts.com but he hasn't been around in a bit - seems he's had a couple of job changes and has been busy - I bought both the front and back from him.

I think the mirrors on the VX are the same as for the 1996-1997 Rodeo and the LS model came with crome mirrors - maybe you could order a set from St. Charles or pull a set from a junker?
Not the same - there was a thread by someone in the past who tried retro-fitting and ran into issues. I have also heard in the past that Isuzu spent a ton to get mirrors on the VX that "look" like the rodeo mirrors, but are actually different (mounts and "guts" are different and not compatible).

i know its not even in process yet, but id be looking for the jdm windflectors, steeringwheel, and fenders. maybe even that mirror on the fender. and if i had the money for it.... a righthand drive firewall and guts for a conversion
