    Speed cops in costume

The Orlando P.D. has taken to wearing costumes while doing speed control. The Grinch holds the gun a uniform down the street pulls you over, and a freakin' elf writes out the ticket I love it, I think it's hesterical, but some folks were pi-issed! Thanksgiving, it was a Pilgrim, Fourth of July...Uncle Sam, of course. Can't wait for Valentines day....a grown a** man in a diaper and wings....with a radar gun instead of a bow and arrow. (Great stuff)

Not that I'd ever jack a perfectly good thread, but ever since you posted this, my mind has been playing the melody from "my favorite things", with "Speed cops in costumes" as the first line. No luck so far with the rest of it.

I have a chronic problem with attempting to be funny ... & failing miserably.

I wasn't thinking of Spok. Vulcan is the Greek hammer god. Consider yourself hammered.

There has to be a good comeback to that but it eludes me at the moment so I'll just defer to your greatness almighty Zeus.
