    painted cladding

ok, i searched for a while and couldnt find a silver vehicross with the cladding painted to match...so i asked a few people to do a quick photoshop and this is what they came up with...personally i love it, but i'd like to get everyone else opinion as well. my gf likes the stock better, and we all know the gf wins every time

Look online for the Mooncraft (turbo'd) VX.
I think that you'll agree that stock looks better...

I like the contrast of the raw polypropylene cladding best. It accentuates the beautiful lines of the VX regardless of paint color.

You know, I do love the contrast and that is the man reason I got the Ironman for maximum contrast but..........I would have to vote that does look good. There is a full black one out there (painted cladding to match - began life victory white however). There is actually a thread by a member here maybe crn or another member where the first letter is a c that discusses this topic.

Without the contrast it loses some of it's distinctive flare. As far as GF and wives they work the same in everything. A GF begins a relatioship by agreeing with you on everything until she thinks she has you then starts slowly convincing you that since you always agree you actually beleives what she tells you she likes. Then when married begins disagreeing with you on everything and forcing you to do it her way to get back at you for all the times she had to go along with your stupid ideas in the begining.

By the way I am single vould anyone have guessed

hmmm i like that better than any other painted cladding ive seen real or photoshopped.. i agree w/ everyone who said it takes away from the VX of it a little.. but still not bad at all.. if i were to do anything to my cladding I would get a very smooth coat of rhino lining done

It has this updated 2008 VX vibe to it... it looks refreshed or something. It kind of looks Jap spec at the same time tho. I like it.

And you're apt to stay single. I heard yesterday about a married man and a married woman who were having a very passionate extramarital affair with each other. They never had sex, they just got together to argue

Stock all the way. The contrast of the cladding on the VX is what makes it look so good. Even the ebonies look better with the dark gray/black combo, imo.

If you search enough gallerys, you'll find painted cladding on at least one Proton, one that was kind of a robins egg blue (stolen IIRC), there are pics of the Mooncraft in my gallery...funny how things change, when I first started hangin' out around here, I thought the Mooncraft VX was about the most badazz thing going...now, not so much. Now I see the potential for near "hall of fame" size trail badges in all that skirting.
Oh yeah, almost forgot, I'm a fan of contrast too.

How much would that paint job cost? A mask off job vs a disassemble, paint and reassemble job. I understand that there are a lot of screws, rivets and putty-like stuff holding the cladding on. Then there's the half moon on the rear door. Hmmmm...
