    Recro Seats

My drivers seat on the left side is leaning back at the hinge from the lower seat to the back rest. I took the seat apart and found the round plastic disk that holds the back of the seat in place is broken. It also controls the back of the seat to adjust forward and backward. I am trying to get a replacement disk from Recaro. Seems like they are all on vacation.
Any Ideas for internal replacement parts for the Recaro seats?

The seat model is called the Recaro Trend -it can be found in a number of vehicles of a similar age to the VX.
But most recently, the same seat has shown up in the Chevy Cobalt SS -try a Chevrolet dealer for parts.

Does anyone know if a plain Isuzu (or any other car or truck) seat will bolt in place of the drivers Recaro seat?
I'm just too big for the Recaro seat and I cannot travel long distances in that seat. My leg goes numb and then gets painful because of the side bolsters on the seat bottom. I though maybe a Rodeo seat or something much flatter would be more suitable for me.
And if ir bolts roight in that would be even better.
Any positive advice is welcome, Thanks

Carry your wallet in your front pocket.

Sounds dumb but a guy I used to work with had similar problems & after many chiropractic visits, he was given the same advice & cured the problem (of course his wallet was about 3" thick from all the crap he carried in it).

Tom finally said something I agree with...

I always put my wallet between the passenger seat & the hump.

Though it's not thick enough to do much damage, why take chances...

Who are you & what have you done with Tom...

It's a well known fact that he doesn't know how to use the "quote" function.

If you're going to misquote, shouldn't it read,

You sir are absolutely correct. I stand corrected.

It actually took me a minute to detect the fine nuance.

    Mark,

Sorry for the thread-jack. Were you able to locate the parts that you needed?

Yes, but I still had to do some minor modifications to the seat.
    It works good now.
