Dakar to cross the Atlantic

: Due to the instability in N.,S.,E.,and W., Africa....the '09 race is coming to a hemisphere near you. Phoenix to Brasilia would be excellent....or Mexico City (ugh) to Santiago. Deserts, swamps, rain forest, mountains all in one race. Why not Tundra to Rain forest?? May turn out to be even better than it's been since the the days when it really went to Dakar. (Where in hell am I gonna raise half a mill, really fast???)
