- you have to know what it is to know what it is -
That machine right there looks like it means business.
No frills, gitt'er done...Nice!
And if it runs out of gas, you can use it to hold up a big heavy thing...like a bridge.
I see we are dealing with someone that knows a little something....Ducks are the way to fly low very nice.
have you seen the new one. titanium, magnesium, and carbon fiber, only 1500 imported to the tune of $72,500.00. was in USA Today yesterday. wow
Greetings, Earthling. We come in peace... Never mind "Paris to Dakar", the VehiCROSS looks ready for the Martian desert.
Yeah, I think that's this critter here, the Desmosedici RR...
Did the Desmo thing for a bit, back when Daytona Kaw was on Ballough and there were a couple shops in the area carrying the other members of the Axis. Pretty much been all Team Green except for the occasional "flirt bike" but am now firmly in the BMW camp since getting my long-term dream bike, the R1100GS. I'll keep the '78 Yamaha DT400 just 'cause it's so darn much fun (personalized plate reads "Dirt Toy") but my beloved '73 Kawasaki Z1 will soon be looking for a new home as soon as it's re-painted and re-assembled.
It's always cool to see what's new and old in motorcycles!
Over 20 years of Isuzu enjoyment...
hey, fellow monster rider here, too! 01, M750. I keep getting the itch to get a "faster" bike...but I just can't get myself to sell my first bike. Almost bought a CBR 600rr a few months ago. the 07s are lighter than my M750...and they actually fit me so well. No soul like a duc, though.
Ridden the 848, yet? I'm gonna settle for a 2005+ 749 or 999...They oddly enough fit me better than the 848/1098. I have disappointingly short legs
THIS WE'LL DEFEND
faster schmaster, I say, anyway.
I only learned to ride a couple of years ago and while I think I naturally "understand" riding, I'm not in it for the speed.
I just enjoy the ride...and the commuting benefits.
But it was the Ducati Monsters that propelled my to finally pick up the "hobby".
If I was going to learn to ride, it was going to be in style!
hey, ditto for me. THe "slow" monster is more than enough bike for me. It'll still beat any car out there It's all in the rider...
ADmittedly, I'm not a great rider...I've been away from it for a good long while. ANd even when I first learned, I was awkward...but I rode with the goofy grin on my face every minute of it. Same with sportscars. Anyway, all reasons I'll never sell the monster. Same way I love my VX...someimtes I want to drive my sportscars. Somedays I'd want to ride a superbike....
I love Ducati's I would love to buy one some day.
