    Brand new Nittos arrived today!

Got them from Discount Tire Direct. Free shipping, and a twenty five buck coupon. Saved 85 dollars over driving to their store, where I still would have had to order them anyway. I bought the 404 Extreme Force...275/60/18. These things are BIG, and at 36lbs. each, they aren't light. I'll hang them and do an alignment Monday. I'll put up pix

Ahhh, yes, those "new tire" days. Whenever I put new tires on any of my cars, the car seems to run better and faster...plus my teeth are whiter, I lose ten pounds, girls smile at me more and my IQ goes up 17 points. Also the days are both longer and sunnier! Congrats on the new tires. Your mileage will drop, but somehow it will be worth it. Post them pics right away!!!

This is the size tire that should have come on the VX! 275/60/18 The tires themselves are spectacular wet and dry, but I wouldn't go near snow or much dirt. I'll get a set of Terras for that. Here's the pix:

I have not been trying real hard. I'm waiting for one of those Karmic flows that just bring things together at the proper moment. I'm trying in earnest to find something reasonable for the wife to drive...she likes the C-30, I'm thinking A4. She's the one who has to drive it....but a five cylinder engine is just un-natural! We're not as far apart as we were two weeks ago.

C130's have a lot more trunk space for those shopping trips but the A4 will blast it in the performance department. Although the jet packs give the C130 a little more oomph...although it is shortlived!

    I tend to agree....

The C-130 will have loads of space, and will be able to get into and out of those tight spots, the A5 is a lot more agressive, in every way, but might be a little much. (The A10 is very agressive, highly reliable, and is a blast in so many ways, but I don't know how you like hogs.) Good luck, any of the three will be a treat to pull up by at a light. (Just let me go first.)
