Wax on, wax off = new VX!
Those of you who have never had the good fortune to live in Seattle won't understand this...
We just had, like, FIVE sunny days in a row! That's a new record, I think. Since we usually have around 3 good weather months, followed by a 9-month rainy season, it's pretty much a waste of time to bother washing your car around here. It'll just get streaky and muddy the next day. And you tend to get used to seeing your car in a drab, dirty condition all the time.
HOWEVER:
After the recent body work, I felt like it was time to baby my baby a little bit. I washed it and then waxed the $#!+ out of it. I "American Shined" the cladding. I cleaned out and vacuumed the interior, and washed the inside of the windows, and put on new wiper blades.
And frankly she looks like new again. I love my VX. I think I'll go for a joyride and waste $50 of gas today.
